It's important to help your child build good attendance habits early! Things like regular bedtime and morning routines, setting out clothes and backpacks the night before are all great ways to help your child be ready for the school day. #RepthatA

As a district, we are participating in #StartWithHelloWeek from Sept. 18-22! Throughout the week, our schools will hold various activities geared towards getting students involved and making new connections. Some of the activities include wearing name tags so students and staff can greet each other by name, giving sweet treats to promote random acts of kindness and even writing positive messages for another student or staff member. It's going to be a great week here at ACS! #RepthatA

"S-L-I-M-E Slime Time!" The students and staff at Alliance Intermediate School chanted before watching as Principal Stephanie Garren and Assistant Principal Erica Jackson got slimed not once, not twice, but FOUR times! Throughout the week, students purchased raffle tickets for the chance to slime either Mrs. Garren or Mrs. Jackson. The fundraiser was a success with over 800 raffle tickets being sold. All the funds raised will go towards the monthly PBIS incentives the students take part in. What a fun (and messy) day it was at AIS! #RepthatA

4th and 5th grade art classes have been working on butterfly collages! Students experimented creating different types of lines for their backgrounds using neon paints and cardboard pieces as a stamp. They then decorated a butterfly, cut, and attached the butterfly to the background. The project was a great way to get students exposed to many different mediums in a short amount of time! #RepthatA
