Students in Casey Cross' Summer School reading class took a hike! The class had been learning about prepositions in grammar. To demonstrate their understanding, students pre-selected three prepositions or prepositional phrases and then had to create a photo definition of their words/phrases in nature. They enjoyed the challenge of finding, creating, and explaining their thoughts behind their photos. They even spotted a fawn shading itself from the summer sun! #RepthatA

The art classes at Alliance Intermediate School created a chandelier from 1044 plastic water bottles! The students collected, cut and colored the water bottles to create the work of art that will soon hang in the AIS cafeteria. We are so proud of the hard work our young artists put into this project! #RepthatA
